Who we are
outtbid.lol (“Outtbid”, “we”) operates a pay-to-rank discovery leaderboard at https://outtbid.lol. Contact: hello@outtbid.lol.
Information we collect
- Listing data you submit: URL or handle, title, description, category, logo URL, and bid amounts needed to publish ranks.
- Payment metadata: processed by Polar. We receive confirmation status, paid amount, and checkout identifiers required to verify bids. We do not store full card numbers on Outtbid servers.
- Usage metrics: listing clicks, visitor counters, and aggregated volume shown in Live Transparency Stats.
- Technical data: standard server/browser logs via Firebase Hosting and Cloud Functions (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.
- Local storage: your browser may store listing caches, visitor session flags, and preferences to keep the UI fast and consistent.
How we use information
- Display and rank listings on the public leaderboard
- Verify payments and prevent duplicate claims
- Maintain transparent visitor/click statistics
- Detect abuse, fraud, and rule violations
- Improve product performance and SEO discoverability
Sharing
We share data with service providers needed to run Outtbid, including:
- Polar — checkout and payment processing
- Google Firebase — hosting, functions, and database
We do not sell personal information. Public listing content (title, URL, description, bid totals, clicks) is intentionally visible on the leaderboard.
Cookies & local storage
We use essential browser storage for session visitor counting and UI state. Payment providers may set their own cookies on checkout pages under their policies.
Retention
Listing and payment verification records are retained as long as needed to operate the leaderboard, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request removal of a listing you control by contacting us; public historical activity may remain for ledger integrity.
Your choices
- Do not submit personal data in listing descriptions you do not want public
- Clear site data in your browser to reset local caches and visitor session flags
- Email us to ask about access or deletion related to your listings
Children
Outtbid is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use of outtbid.lol after updates means you accept the revised policy.
